My name is Simone Miller, the proprietor of Socializing Newcastle Pty Ltd. Socializing Newcastle began whilst I was sitting in my lounge room surrounded by walls and four children, after a relationship breakup. I thought, "What now?" Everything had changed, my life, my friends, my work, then I thought about how many other people out there in society were in a similar position. It was then I became proactive and decided it was time to live, meet people and enjoy life. Socializing Newcastle was born! Yes you can see I had a lot on my plate with my children but "life is short", I reasoned. Was I going to sink and allow the grief of a relationship breakup destroy me completely? The answer was no, you have to value yourself or nobody else would.

Sometimes it's hard to consider this a business, as it is for the people. Staff are selected based on professionalism, personality and caring attributes who share with me our common goal of creating joy, companionship and the necessity of what we offer in society today - an outlet. I personally have studied my Masters Degree in Human Resource Management, specialising in group behaviours. I have a wealth of experience in the social dining industry and events management. I must admit I put my heart & soul into this business, for you and others alike.

Our magic formula is simple, because we are so large, increasing in the last 12 months by 300%, we provide a huge variety of events that cater to different personalities. We tend to attract decent, genuine people from different walks of life who you would not easily have access to if it weren't for the services we provide. I cannot explain why our members are so decent and legitimately nice, perhaps it is the environment, quality and consistency that we provide. The people's business.

One of my favourite sayings is, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step!" This is so true. You know what you need and have made your first step in perusing our website.
