A warm hello, my name is Simone, the proprietor of Socializing Newcastle Pty Ltd. Socializing Newcastle began whilst I was sitting in my lounge room surrounded by walls, 3 children & an infant 3 weeks old when my relationship had broken up. A huge bomb! I thought, "What now?" Everything had changed, my life, my friends, my work, then I thought about how many other people out there in society were in a similar position. It was shortly there after I became proactive and decided it was time to live, meet people and enjoy life. Socializing Newcastle was born! Yes, I had a lot on my plate with my children but "life is short", I reasoned. Was I going to sink and allow the grief of a relationship breakup destroy me completely? The answer was no, you have to value yourself or nobody else would. Personally I developed over the past number of years since, with strength of character, bubbliness, a ready smile, caring & compassionate qualities, with boundaries, morals and ethics.....attributes which are also reflected in Socializing Newcastle Members. "Build it, they will come!" as quoted in Fields of Dreams and so it was.

This is the people's business! Staff & hosts are selected based on professionalism, personality and caring attributes who share with me our common goal of creating joy, companionship and the necessity of what we offer in society today - a social singles outlet with decorum and dignity. I personally have studied my Grad Cert In HRM & IR, and currently Masters Degree in Human Resource Management & Industrial Relations, specialising in group behaviours with a wealth of experience in the social dining industry and events management. I must admit I put my heart & soul into Socializing Newcastle, for you and others alike.I can't save the world but I can spread the sunshine into your life.
